Kelly Turhan Clayton, age 50, of Lorain, Ohio, passed away suddenly on September 27, 2025.

 

Born and raised in Lorain, Ohio Kelly spent the majority of his life in the community he loved. He attended Lorain High School and later furthered his education at the Cincinnati Job Corps Center, where he studied carpentry. With his skilled hands and hard work, he dedicated much of his time to remodeling homes, leaving his craftsmanship as a lasting legacy.

 

Kelly had a passion for working on cars and installing stereo systems. He cherished family gatherings and was known as a true people person who could bring you to tears with his humor.

 

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Sylvia Wilson-Johnson; Father James woods; his wife, Lisa Clayton; his siblings, Kimberly (Johnny)Willis, Paul Clayton, Eddie Clayton, James woods jr, Corrie woods, Capriotta woods. Also, daughter Arianna (Josè) Carrero; his sons, Drake Biller, Diyon Jones, Dawon Jones, and Davion Jones; eight beloved grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews who loved him very much.

 

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Sylvester Clayton Jr. and Francine “Mae” Clayton.

 

Kelly’s presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
